Charging
Walbrzych with organizing such prestigious championships is a great honour
for us but, first of all, a crowning achievement of many years work
of the local sports activists.
I
wish all the competitors successful starts and satisfaction from the
results, the spectators superb experiences and the organizers to be
pleased with the final outcome of their long-lasting
hard work.

The 2004 MTB European Championships will take place in Walbrzych and Szczawno Zdroj. A new formula of the competitions requires some kind of vigour and fantasy from the organizers and also precision and consistency of acting. We will do our best to cope with this challenge.
I am glad that mountain biking Europe is coming to our town to compete for the European titles and the scenery of the Castle of Ksiaz and the course around it will certainly impress everybody.
The Four Cross course in Szczawno Zdroj and Downhill from the mountain of Chelmiec will absolutely contribute to the positive image of the sports part of our offer.
You'll be able to see everything else at the spot, in Walbrzych and the vicinity, during the MTB European Championships. |
